This coming Wednesday (April 14) from 9am to 12noon, there will be another open studio drawing at 12812 Rancho Penasquitos Bvd, Suite U, CA 92129.  Daniel Hsu has notified us that it will start with some warm ups, and it will be long poses.  Our apologies to Daniel Hsu as this notice was suppose to have been posted this past Friday.

If you enjoyed drawing Lady Borgia.  She will be modeling with another model, Leah, in an anime themed costumed Dr. Sketchy.  It takes place 3pm to 6pm at a bar called the Ruby Room: 1271 University Ave (between Richmond St & Vermont St).  Check out http://drsketchysandiego.wordpress.com/ for more information.

  1. You’re all invited…

Twelve innovative artists are launching their first ‘Art Walk’ the weekend of April 17-18. Both Saturday and Sunday from 11 – 4pm.,the public is invited to enjoy a lovely cultural stroll along Portobelo Court across from La China Restaurant, in Tierrasanta.

On display, among beautiful gardens and studios, will be a wonderful variety of unique, one of a kind artwork. Artists in mediums such as watercolor, oils, pastels, Chinese brush, digital, and beautiful art jewelry will be on display. Light refreshments will be offered at each stop. A percentage of sales will be donated to needy children.

So don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy Tierrasanta’s first ‘Art Walk’ and see what creative work is flourishing in San Diego’s suburbs.
